State Superintendent Jack O’Connell invited Sausalito Marin City School District Superintendent Dr. Debra Bradley, District Principal Cherisse Baatin, Director of Special Education Gerry Klor, teachers Jennifer Banks, and Kathryn Stratton to speak about the academic success of the Sausalito Marin City School District at four prestigious education events.

The SMCSD team presented at the Education Trust West in February of 2008 and was among 125 leading education experts presenting at the Achievement Gap Summit in Sacramento in November of 2007.

Dr. Bradley and her team will also speak at the "Ready To Learn" Conference October 19-22, in San Diego, the conference is hosted by EduAlliance Networks in partnership with the California Department of Education.  Other speaking engagements include the 2008 Ed Quest conference also in October and The California School Board Association Annual Education Conference held in San Diego this coming December.
